The GWPC ladies dug deep and at the end of the first quarter were 3-0 down. At half-time it was 7-0, which was frustrating as a few opportunities were missed, but defensively everyone was digging deep.

The 11-strong team playing for Grantham had 2 seniors, Lauren and Flo, compared to 7 seniors from Hucknall.

Our young goalie, Catriona made some great saves, it being her third seniors match.

The third quarter the tide turned. With 4 goals from Georgie. We won the quarter 4-2.

At the end of the match we finished 14-4. Despite it being a loss the team did fantastically well and should be really pleased with their defensive efforts. Conversion of a few opportunities would have made it closer, but all round a great performance! Well done Team.
